I have a custom made pair of kick panels that used to house a pair of Polk Audio component speakers. I made these using fiberglass and custom made rings. They are solid and do not rattle like the Q logic panels. I used these in a 5 spd car so there is room to push the man pedal in. Asking $100 shipped.

 

Why does it look like the speakers stick out way to far? I have thought about making something similar but don't like the way the speakers are sticking out. Can you take a pic without speaker? Seems like you took most of work out of it for me and I could just modify to suit my needs.

 

The Polk speakers I used have a half inch ring that mounts between the speaker and kick panel. The ring is used to secure the protective grill. You can see the black plastic ring in the pics. I will take a pic of one without the speaker in it this afternoon

 

Here are more pics of the kick panels. The type of speaker used will determine how far it sticks out. Polk just happens to use a half inch thick trim ring around the model in the picture.
