Yep, I'm definately saving this thread for when it's the interior's turn.
If you could get into redoing steering wheels I'd bet you could make a good amount of money. Just saying.....

Re: shift ***** and emergency brake handles recovered.
I sent one about 2 or 3 months ago, but he did not respond (hope he's all right). Shame since he does beautiful work. So I had the shifter **** and ebrake handle covered with carbon fiber, and they turned out beautiful. Cost was a LOT more than leather though.

Re: shift ***** and emergency brake handles recovered.
I just got my ***** in the mail.
First picture shows the **** against my newly-recovered Chuck Pelton wheel. The wheel leather is black, but the ***** are much lighter, unfortunately. I knew it would not match perfectly, but the ***** are more grey, like you see in Firebird interiors.
Also, the button does not pop back up on its own, I assume because the leather is too thick. I was hoping it would work properly once I installed it. The other two pictures show it installed. The **** pops up in park, but not in drive. With this scenario, all you have to do is lightly touch the shifter, and it slips into neutral. I'm worried about this.

As I have used the shifter **** more, I guess the leather has worn a bit, and now the button pops up perfectly every time. Also, I'm surprised at how quickly both recovered ***** have darkened. You said they would darken over time, but it has happened pretty quickly. The ***** look really nice in the car, and it's one of the first compliments I generally get about the car. So two thumbs up, happy customer.

Wow those look great, as soon as winter hits I will send mine in. I would also be willing to let you use my wheel as a trial as I will not need it for the winter months.
