FS: Sparco Monza Seats...No longer for sale, sorry!
No longer for sale, sorry. I'm putting them in my C5.
Hey guys,
I have two Sparco Monza seats that I need to sell. They are all black and absolutely brand new. The are still wrapped in the plastic they left Italy in! I have the original boxes and all.
I bought these originally for a Camaro project I was getting ready for. But I had been without a fun car for close to 5 years, I decided to let the Camaro go and pick up a C5 so I would have something I could enjoy right away. This was about a year ago.
These seats are all black. They are cloth, not leather. There are brackets available to put these in a thirdgen. Do you own research to see if they will fit your project before you commit to buy them.
I would like to get $800 for the pair. Located in Stafford, VA. Buyer pays shipping. Paypay add 3%.
Stock photo so you can see what they look like:

Re: FS: Sparco Monza Seats...9/3 Price drop!
honestly i wouldnt pay more than 300 for the pair.
i can go to my local summit racing and get the same 2 seats brand new in any color i want and have them install it for under $400
and return if i dont like it..
you gotta make the deal a whole lot better to get offers

These seats were about $600 per seat, brand new. And I even bought them on clearance.
If you want quality stuff, it costs money. Those summit seats would fall apart in a year.
I'm not lowering the price any more. If no one buys them I'll either put them in my vette or just make them into office chairs... Haha

I don't remember exactly, but I think you need the Sparco sliders, then a bracket that matches the bolt pattern for your car.
I was going to have it all custom made to get the seats to sit as low as possible.

Re: FS: Sparco Monza Seats...9/3 Price drop!
I'd imagine I'll still have them in three weeks. There has been very little serious interest in them.
Plenty of people want them, but the economy is crap, and most people don't have the money to spare for something like this.
I've had a few offers that were pretty ridiculous. I'm not gonna sell them for pennies, $800+shipping is already a killer deal on these seats. The price isn't coming down anymore, I promise that.
I want to sell them, but I don't at the same time. They are awesome seats, they'd look great in my Corvette... but at the same time the $800 would buy me a nice couch for the house I just bought. It's all about priorities I guess.

Re: FS: Sparco Monza Seats...9/3 Price drop!
i understand. was out of work for almost a year, had to sell my m5. back at work now, decided to scale it back a bit, so i bought an iroc, but i want it to be nice. not m5 nice, but close. i liked the stock recaros it had, and sparcos are pretty close....... i gotta buy a hood from 1badbowtie first, so like i said, itll be like 3 weeks plus a couple days.

Re: FS: Sparco Monza Seats...9/3 Price drop!
I guess I could consider trades. But keep in mind that I don't own a thirdgen anymore, or any car that uses thirdgen parts. All I have is a '00 Corvette that is basically mint, so there really isn't much of anything that I need right now.

Since this is a thirdgen site, 90% of the parts deals are thirdgen stuff. I figured it was a safe assumption that you were going to offer up some TPI parts or something

Re: FS: Sparco Monza Seats...No longer for sale, sorry!
Yeah, I'm keeping them. My decision to keep them came from my stock Vette seats not being all that supportive and not being too fond of selling such a nice pair of seats at a $400 loss.
