140mph gauge cluster (2) firebird 1986
Selling two 1986 Firebird 140mph gauge clusters. They are both compatible with electric speedos. The first one is in great shape asking $30 plus shipping.
The second one is in ok shape. The glass has a small crack on the right side. Other than that good condition. Asking $20 plus shipping.

Some gauges accpet a mechanical speedometer instead of the electronic speedo. All the firebirds I have owned run a wire from the trans to the gauge cluster that relays your speed. Some firebirds run a mechanical cable from the trans to the gauge instead. I am not 100% sure but if you have a mechanical cable originally I don't think you can swap to this one.

It all depends on what the trans you are using has. Some can be adapted to use the speed sensor. Some need a new tailshaft housing. It all depends on what you have. Im uncertain of the th400's.

I guess i'll also have to change out oil and temp sending units. Is that correct? Dont even know where to start, does look like it just plugs and plays...nothing can be that easy!

Yea you can tell by looking at the back of your cluster. I guess you already got the answer you needed though.
