LAST CALL: UQ7 Factory amplified subwoofer system
I've had this listed and have replied to emails from about 20 people who have wanted this stuff and no one ever comes through. If it doesn't sell today or tomorrow then it goes on Ebay and you guys can fight it out, personally I'd rather sell it outright then wait for an auction to end.
This is a UQ7 FACTORY OEM amplified subwoofer system for 85-89 Firebirds. It was optional equipment, characterized by the amp/gain slider switch on the dash panel, and 'Performance Sound' tag on the radio trim plate. Front 4x6's remained the same, rear 6x9's were changed out to 4x6's for the midrange, and a 4" subwoofer for the low end. Rear speakers were mounted in a ported plastic enclosure located in the stock 6x9" location. A small amplifier was installed in the dash with a gain slider to control the subwoofers.
I've got one of the most complete setups I've ever seen offered here or on ebay in the last 12 years. The only parts missing are the radio (any factory radio 82-89 will work) and the subwoofers themselves which are available from the Fiero store. I'll include a factory subwoofer with a rotted out surround also. All the wiring is uncut except the plugs for the radio were removed. Buyer can reattach them or I can splice them back together.
Included are the following parts:
-both left and right rear speaker enclosures
-rear 4x6's
-front 4x6's
-damaged subwoofer
-factory amplifier
-gain/power switch/slider
-switch wiring harness
-sub wiring harness
-amp wiring harness
-radio trim plate with 'Performance Sound' tag
In addition I'll throw in wiring pigtails for the rear speakers and subwoofers, an extra pigtail for the amplifier, and extra pigtail for the gain switch. I'll also include an extra pair of front 4x6's, another 'Performance Sound' tag, and another amplifier.
Order up two subs from the Fiero Store, or find another single sub in a Fiero and have them rebuilt and the rest is plug and play.
$170 shipped in the US. US Postal Money Order or Paypal only. Pic's available on request. I'm not holding this for anyone, anymore. First come first serve. Email me: I DO NOT CHECK PM'S! OR REPLIES!

Just so you know. I purchased a complete set of OEM parts new in the GM boxs off ebay last month. All new never used for lease then what you are asking. I would give you 75.00 plus shipping.

Hey, that's great! However they aren't growing on trees and I'm not selling parts to lose money. I jump through the hoops of finding the parts and removing them intact so that people don't have to search ebay and every junkyard in the area. When someone buys from me they can see I've been around forever and I'm not likely to take their money and run, or risk negative publicity. I disclose every minute detail that may be of concern and even direct people to go elsewhere if they can get the part cheaper. I simply charge a premium for my time and effort, just like how a 6 pack of your favorite frosty cold beverage will cost you twice as much at a gas station as it will at Walmart. You pay for the convenience.
In this case it's supply and demand. There really is no supply, and the demand is enough to justify the price. Finding these parts for sale anywhere is the exception, not the rule.
BTW, sale pending at the price advertised.
