If you decoded your RPO codes and you didnt find 1LE then its not 1LE. If you have big brakes and AC it could be a cop car B4C and if i'm not mistaken in 91 some B4C's did not come with the big brakes. So if B4C and 1LE are not on your SPID all you have is a Z28.

Re: is my car a 1LE?
The idea that all 1LE cars were total strippers is a misconception. Some convienience and luxury options could be ordered. My car has the deluxe leather interior and a cargo shade. In fact, there was some debate recently on this board about at least one 1LE car being documented as factory-equipped with T-Tops. There is an air of mystery about what could and could not be ordered on these cars.
However, one thing is for certain: the RPO codes will tell the story. As 91ls1t56 said, if you have a Z28 and you don't have the "1LE" RPO code, it's not a 1LE - PERIOD. (The B4C cars - some of which also had 1LE brakes - were all RS models).

"ok well i have neither RPO" then your car isn't a 1LE or B4C.
"camaro source the 1LE option was availble with AC it just add the oil cooler, dual exhaust and 105amp alt, and comp select suppension" that may be true and it's nice and all, but without the necessary RPO's then it doesn't apply to your ride.
"im just lost trying to find a true history on my car" you shouldn't be. You already learned that your car isn't a 1LE, but it is a very nicely equipped Z28.
Many of the performance options and their corrosponding RPO's are used on a number of different performance set-ups. I can see how these overlaps may be confusing, but the RPO's are also very specific. A particular group of RPO's do not make a car something else. It is what it is. And what you have is still a sweetly optioned ride.

You're kind'a finding all your answers already.

camarosource is a great resource, but the information presented wasn't written clearly. Many people think that statement means that you could get a street 1LE with AC. The difference is that the "street" model isn't a 1LE, but as close as you are going to get if you have G92 and AC. I believe camarosource got the info from the Camaro White Book and it was worded poorly by them. No RPO 1LE, then you don't have a 1LE!
