1991 Formula 305 TPI 5 Speed Speedo & Tach?

1991 Formula 305 TPI 5 Speed Speedo & Tach?

I know the 90-92 camaros with the 305 tpi, 5 speed, single cat and non performance gearing did not get 145mph & 5500 red line tach but is the same true for the firebirds? If a 91 formula 305 tpi 5 speed has the 140 speedo and 8000 rpm tach is that an indicator it has the dual cats and performance gear?

If it's a factory 305 TPI with factory 5-speed, it should have the N10 based on this Pontiac bulletin:


You can post the VIN if you don't have the SPID and we can look up the RPOs. Looking at the RPO codes is better to see exactly what it would have had from the factory rather than going through a secondary option (gauge pack).

Thanks for posting that bulletin i wasn't aware of that. The spid is missing ill try to get the vin.

Pontiac pretty much mandatory loaded the formulas with the good stuff on those 2 drivetrain combos.
