1990 GTA w/o G92
I came across this eBay listing for a low mileage 1990 GTA and it has a combination of options that I haven't seen before, so I thought I'd post it up here and see what the consensus was. There is a photo of the RPO codes in the listing.
It's an LB9/T5 car, so that's cool. It has factory T-Tops (CC1) and no G92, which seems to be consistent with my understanding for 88-92 model years. Here's the odd part. It seems to have all of the options that make up the G92 package though.
GU6-Rear Axle ratio 3.42
G80-Limited Slip
J65-Rear disc brakes
KC4-Engine oil cooler
So, it seems in this case, all of the options that make up the G92 package could be ordered separately? Maybe this is known information among the history experts around here, but is new to me.

Are you going to bid? I was considering throwing a bid in on this one - Hope one of our many experts on this topic will chime in on your question as I'm curious as well

I'm not going to bid, but I would love to. Too many cars and not enough garage space at the moment.

Its 89-92 actually, I've seen evidence of the 88 cars with ttops cc1 in that combo. I was expecting to see R6P which is the firebird code for the G92 to the camaro. I see R6A which I'm not sure if its 90 year only code or not but this is a rare combo for a 90. Wish it was a different color combo or id be interested in bidding on it.

True but it was also used in certain performance applications which I think this should fit.

Re: 1990 GTA w/o G92
There is no G92 because it probably doesn't need to have the code. I'd venture that the order sheet requires the contents of what would normally be G92 with the engine/trans package when ordered on the GTA. Also, the SPID codes exist to ensure the right Service Parts are used, so codes only need to be there when they differentiate between two options. When an item is standard equipment, it doesn't require a specific code.

My personal opinion is the interior color held it back a little, at least for me it did. Tan is OK, but I would have preferred gray or black interior against the red exterior.

I agree! Especially on the interior color...
I just picked this one up - 43K miles - 5.7 - spent it's life in AZ and CO
I almost passed on it because of the interior color
but decided I will change it to a black interior -
car was just too clean to pass up !!

Nice! Even has an AC Delco oil filter and Gatorbacks. Great color too.
