I have a question that I can't seem to get a definitive answer on. My friend has an 89 IROC G92 hardtop and has the option for the Extended Range Sound system, however he doesn't have the badge on the dash. At what point did they stop putting them on the dash? I looked a bunch of cars online and some 89 cars have them and some not, but I guess that would depend on if they had the option or not. Any feedback would help. Thanks!

 

I think your friends car may be missing his 27 year old ERS badge. I think they had the badge if they had the stereo up through 1989. I don't think they had the badge in 1990-1992.
