Source for yellow fan shroud decal?
Under the hood of my GTA today (scary, I know) and noticed the fan shroud warning decal is starting to roll up from the bottom after 28 years. Has anybody sourced one of these decals; I would like to replace it, and the GM number 22016614 is long gone. Thanks.

I haven't, but it looks like they have them here: http://www.classicindustries.com/pro...ts/dc1425.html

I replaced mine a few years ago. Here's a link to one of the threads.

Scott, I read the post you linked to; for what it's worth, although the same number, my '87 has rounded edges but my '89 has squared off edges.
Frankie, what does your '88 have?

My new stickers came with a squared corner and my original was rounded. I rounded the edges myself

Interesting; so '88 was the change - thanks Frankie
...unless it's a Norwood vs. Van Nuys difference? My '87 is a Norwood car; not sure what Scott's IROC is...

While we are talking decals, does anyone know if there is a source that reproduces the Harrison 635 AC compressor decal. I've seen the one for Monte Carlos and the one for the 20th TAs, but that's all.

That Harrison compressor sticker would also be a nice touch. The top of the compressor is right in your face when you open the hood.

I could use the the 621 decal for appearance sake but it wouldn't be "correct".

Definitely need a repro of the compressor decal, but the 634 is the one we need most. :P
Just from looking around, the 1987 style compressor isn't available anymore. Or at least the style clutch/pulley setup they used in 87 isn't. I checked out two or three extra compressors I have laying around, and they all had different clutch/pulley designs. What I'm getting at, is even if you have the right decal, it can be difficult to even come up with an accurate compressor.

I'd buy one if I could find them. Guess I'll have to have one made when the time comes.

I heated my compressor decal up and carefully peeled it off when I replaced my compressor. I have a roll of the thin film that makes paper a decal and applied it to the back side and reapplied it to the new compressor. As Drew said, the clutch is different, but not many would notice (except okfoz, as he ripped into mine within 30 seconds of seeing it!)
