Too bad it is not a 350, But for a 47K car, price looks really good IMHO... not many pictures...

Correction. Car is Bright Blue/Silver, not Maui Blue as I first posted

The seats look a little strange...I thought the rear nets only came with Ultima seats.

Re: OK Deal 47K 89 Trans Am LB9/A4 - $6100 Wisconsin

Interesting, I did not spot that...

I wonder if the seats are from a sunbird, or a Grand Am...

I have seen some with the rear pouch, those are on the "Custom" seats... Which those appear to be... However never seen the net, like you said except for the Ultima GTA seats...

Good eye...

Another thing I noticed was the pouches on the doors appear to be the Ultima/ GTA type, not the normal pouch door panels. But there is no full picture of the door panels...

My '88 Trans Am with the deluxe interior has the same mesh on the backside except mine are black with black mesh. Though those headrests look different.

Some of the 1987 GTAs with the Carmine Utlima seats had black mesh instead of color coordinated.

It could have been a supply thing... they needed seats, and they could get some that were similar enough to meet what they wanted so they got a group from a different vendor... Or maybe they were shipped in on accident and they threw them in to keep the line from stopping...

I know things happen all the time, like Firebird seats in a Camaro, or vise-verse. My favorite was an S-10/S-15 that the front and the right side were all Chevrolet, and the Left side and rear were all GMC badges... I had a friend with a Plymouth Turismo with a Dodge Charger interior... Someone getting paid to sleep apparently... I know when my dad worked for Buick if they ran out of something and could get it locally they would go buy them in bulk to tide them over... things like bolts or screws...

Hard to tell why... My 89 has the Base seats, so I cannot look at mine to see what they have...

I suppose without further investigation it may seem that they came that way.

This is a nice car that could probably be had for 5500 and would be worth that probably.

It is a nice car, unfortunately right now there is no market for a 305 Auto... If it was a 350 or the LB9/M5 then it would be definitely worth more IMHO

Re: OK Deal 47K 89 Trans Am LB9/A4 - $6100 Wisconsin

While that's possible, I checked my 1988 T/A with the deluxe interior and it does indeed have the same net on the backs of the seat (non-Ultima) as pictured in this car.

You are correct, actually the Trans Am in 1989 did not get the Maui Blue color, only the Firebird & Formula. It is technically a 98-Bright Blue Metallic

Thanks for the correction

All this beast needs is some 3.42 gears and the L98 cam!

Sure thing! The engine is pretty darn clean especially the valve covers. I might need to get some grime off the runners though. The only two major downfalls is the fact the hood insulation is coming down and the headliner is pinned up (the original owner was a girl lol). Two fairly easy fixes. When I got it, it ran like a turd due to having four injectors that decided to give up and the alignment was off. I replaced the 4 bad injectors with my brother's 4 working injectors from his Iroc and she has been running great ever since. For the alignment I just bought some new tires, new struts, a new idler arm, and now it drives as straight as can be. It does burn a little bit of oil due to valve seals but I'll fix that down the road when a bigger cam happens to fall in place. BTW the reason the first engine pic looks a little funky is because I had to have flash on because the garage is a little dark...
