1984 Trans am L69
Hey there, I'm looking at picking up a T/A on Thursday. It looks all original with no rust. It has the Aero package along with T tops and a few other neat features. I'm just wondering I there's anything with the v8 cars I should look for or do right away when I get it home. Also what did the L69 package consist of? I'm excited to restore it to its original condition!

Nice i love the 84 with aero package (i have the same thing)
the l69 isn't really a package, just the HO. engine. it had an electric radiator fan where as the basic 5.0 lg4 did not.
if the engine and wire harness are original that's great i would just want to make sure that the fan switch is working and tells the fan to turn on at the right temp so you don't get any over heating issues

Yeah, *barf* @ those wheels for sure. Looks pretty straight otherwise. Is it a real Red car?

Sorry haven't been on for awhile. Yes it is a original red car, looks to have been repainted at one point in its life. The power antenna and the Ac don't work but ill slowly start to fix one thing at a time. I have the original high tech wheels and trying to decide wether or not to put them back on. I'll try to snap some more pictures when I get on my laptop. It's tricky trying to do that on a mobile.
