Neat stuff, i remember seeing my first 4th gen. I liked it, but always liked the 3rd gens better

I have that special issue somewhere. It was very interesting. I have to admit though, I've never warmed up to the 4th gen.

Cool article! Had never seen it before. Too bad my R&T collection didn't start until September 1993, otherwise I'd probably have that issue too.

It's interesting to hear from the designers. It appears they used a kind of 'haute couture' approach. Clothing designers create some bizarre costume only a runway model can pull off, then from that creation, they develop a whole line of production clothing for the masses which is tamer, more practical, and cost effective.
