Firebird t/a question

Let me start off by saying I'm a camaro guy so I don't know a lot about the diferant firebird packages ( details ) . About 15 years ago a friend of mine inherited his fathers T/A . It was white and blue as I recall it said Richard petty edition on the back of the car and the dash has petty's signature on it . Is this some thing real or was it made by his father . I have not seen the car since 97 or so as it has been in storage ever since .

Thanks in advance guys .

Re: Firebird t/a question

It wasn't a GM package, it may of been a dealer package or something made up by his dad.

Was it real? Probably. Was it factory? Probably not. The man makes lots of money putting his name on stuff.
