1985 Camaro RPO B9k.

I found what the 1985 camaro rpo B9K is. It's not for the side moulding, it looks like it's for the cloth trim.

Re: 1985 Camaro RPO B9k.

I found this earlier. I updated my documentation for the RPO Database. This is the kind of information I need. I completed the 1985 RPO list awhile ago, but found about a dozen RPOs on this listing. Granted, my list is far from complete, but this helped a lot.

What is this? Cloth trim. How is it different?

Re: 1985 Camaro RPO B9k.

I'm thinking it has to do with the door panels. Or, could it be for the cloth seats instead of vinyl on the standard interior? Since the car doesn't have the custom cloth interior, the door panels and seats should be vinyl in 1985. Can anyone confirm this thought?

Mine has that code and my panels have carpet lower and cloth upper, but the seats are also cloth.

Re: 1985 Camaro RPO B9k.

I also have an 85 and the B9K code, and my door panels look just like cerberus car in the photo above. Carpet lower, cloth upper, with custom cloth seats.

Hope this helps.

I have an 1985 spid with 72R interior code and B9K isn't listed on the spid.

Re: 1985 Camaro RPO B9k.

I can't see the door panels on the car listed. Is the cloth trim the seat cloth used on the upper half of the door? That's the only thing I can think of.

Re: 1985 Camaro RPO B9k.

According to CS.Pontiac-club.com/g...B9K is, ornamentation-B/S Molding,Reapply to RR doors only, and I know we don't have rear doors.
Their is a couple of GM RPO sites that list that, and their is a site that list rpo code B9K as???? cerberus is right, sounds like stew.

I think we have it figured out, If we don't find a spid with B9K and vynl trim. There is documentation that states RPO B9K is for the cloth trim and we have a spid without B9K listed that has vynl trim.

Don't forget, GM reused RPO codes from year to year. That's why I'm trying to build a list of all RPO codes based on year, not on general definition.
