Hello, I have a 1991 Z28 with the 350 TPI. What size battery belongs in my car? When replacing the ground wire (which was bolted to the exauhst manifold), I found that the battery did not fit in the battery box. It currently has a group 78 which is to big. Looks like the more you dig the more you find.

Thankyou very much! This should help with the starting problem and I won't have to worry about the battery falling out during sudden acceleration or braking

 

Do you have a hold down bolt on the battery? Might be wrong but IIRC, they are close to if not the same width, 78 is just longer.
