Re: T-TOP HELP!!!
I think you are in the wrong forum...
Here is probably the problem... Pick one possibly more
1) Your Center bar may be rusted, if so the water is getting in thru the center bar... You may have to invest in some time in a junkyard to find a good one (good luck with that) or buy a new one made from Stainless or Aluminum.
2) The weather seal may be just plain worn out. The truth is they do not last forever, if original then they are 23 years old... If you buy weatherstrip, keep in mind that if you can get GM, get GM, they are much more expensive but WELL worth it... THE OER stuff has gotten better over the past few years.
3) If your weather seal is good, and your Center bar is not rusty then you may want to seal up between the body and the weatherstrip itself. I had this problem, it was leaking at the back of the seal, running down the center and then on the headliner ultimately on the back seat... You can buy 3M Strip Caulk and seal it up or 100% silicone, just mask off your paint before applying it.

As of a couple months ago, it could all still be had relatively easily. I've got an entire set (sans one drip rail I'm continuously looking for and then I'll be totally complete with my set) about two months ago.
More than likely your weatherstripping is just shot.

Sorry for the attitude, but I don't understand why someone would ask a question like this. If you're not willing to do the job correctly, then why do it at all?

Scott,
Technically he put it in the Convertible forum, I transferred it here... I did not know where else to put it...
You are correct, the only way to really do it correct would be to replace the weatherstrip. or figure out where it is leaking and go from there.

Re: T-TOP HELP!!!
My '92 RS had the Lexan T-tops, funny thing is, those didn't leak... however, the previous owner painted them black... so I replaced them with very nice T-tops from an '86 Iroc that was wrecked. Those T-tops leaked like a waterfall. I had to check the weather to know which T-tops I was going to be putting on my car that day lol! A lot of people drop T-tops, they crack, chip, and then get replaced with different ones. I know they changed the T-tops in '87 I think... that's why mine leaked. Just another possibility! I agree with Scott... fix it right, or don't fix it at all! These cars are too nice to be fixed with foam and duct tape.
