Is the rpo UX1 am fm cassett w/eq. the same radio that is in my 86 firebird.my 89 camaro has the ux1 on the rpo list but has an after market radio in it.the console cover is missing in my 86 so I have no codes.the 86 has a delco , am fm cassett with auto reverse and adjustable bass and treble.Is the anywhere else I might find the rpo's for my bird?

 

UX1 is the am/fm cassette with a 5 band EQ, UM6 is the same thing (quite a bit different) with just adjustable bass/treble. Google both of those codes and do an image search and you'll see a picture.

Try Compnine.com if it doesn't have your RPO's then no place will. Once the label is missing on earlier cars, the codes are lost forever.
