Electric heated recaro seats - 88 GTA
Another potentially interesting ebay find.
Check out the attached guys - are these aftermarket recaros or an optional extra. They don't seem to perfectly match the interior which is swaying me toward thinking the former but notice the GTA pin on the bolster on one of the pics
Most prob. aftermarket but curious to hear learned thoughts>
also not bad looking seats - to have heated seats in an Fbody and that control pad is pretty retro cool

No kidding, it looks great in that car. I wonder if it was an aftermarket offering by Recaro back in the day. Since they lost the bid to Lear-Sigler for 1987 I would not see why not someone would want the Recaro's. I would not mind a set of those in one of my cars... Its one of the better looking aftermarket seats I have seen in a while... I really dislike the radical looking newer seats they offer aftermarket in our cars, usually they just do not look right.

Those are Recaro Classic C came in high end Mercedes cars or Ideal Sitz C, should say what they are on the badge on the side. They could be ordered from any Recaro dealer.

Those look like a later version of the Idealseat-C which was named the Classic-C. They were pricey seats in the early '80s and can command a high price today. I installed a pair of Idealseat-C seats in my '83 DT500 TA.
The factory Recaro seats in T/As were called Idealseat-N.

Those are the exact same seats (but in black leather) that I had in my Porsche 930 Turbo
