Re: DELCO LOC II CD PLAYER
got a picture of the unit? Don't think they had TheftLoc II for the third gen body style, and otherwise, there are many different models among different vehicles.

Re: DELCO LOC II CD PLAYER
They did:
The above was used in the Pontiac side for the later ThirdGens.
I'm fairly sure setting the clock involves pressing the Set button, when the clock is displayed, and using one of the other controls (Volume, Tune or Seek?) to advance the clock. But I'm not 100% sure which combo it is.

See the following link for brief instructions on posting pictures:

Yours likely would be yellow buttoned for the Camaro side to match the yellow numbered gauges and HVAC controls, so that sounds correct to me.

Re: DELCO LOC II CD PLAYER
My Firebird one has a yellow power button with the EQ... The 89 Pontiac Dealer Brochure shows a Firebird with a Yellow Button...
Honestly thats the first time I can recall seeing the Red button...
I do remember thinking there was a unique difference for the 1992 cars... not sure but that may be it.

Re: DELCO LOC II CD PLAYER
All 1992 T/As I've seen with the CD player had a yellow power button.
I don't know if the picture above is from a Firebird or not, but I think the unit itself is basically the same. I simply thought the OP was speaking of all buttons being yellow, not just the power button.
I recall the Camaro side had a period of time where the buttons were yellow to match the rest of the controls in the car while the buttons on the Firebirds remained white as seen in the picture above (sans for the power button). The 1991 Camaro brochure shows yellow buttons:

Re: DELCO LOC II CD PLAYER
...here a CD-player i got years ago from a friend and his late 1991 U1A-equipped TA (Build Date: 1991-07-08)
...orange button...
(radio mfd is from June 1991...unfortunately it has a very weak volume button...the plastic cracked over the time)

Re: DELCO LOC II CD PLAYER
Try this:
Press the Set button and then press Scan button to change the minutes and Seek button to change the hours. When finished, press Set button.
If the above doesn't work, press and hold the Set button until Set is displayed or the display starts to flash.
Whatever method works, let us know.
By the way, the radio isn't in security mode, is it?
