Tear down started, project officially underway! PICS!
I finally got to start playing with the car recently. I was expecting a lot of hidden body damage like my other 3rd gens had. I have not washed the car in any ways yet. I do plan on doing this professionally, although I am not certified haha. The car is pretty rare from what I found on the RPO codes. I didn't know what I had, nor did the previous owner. Anyways, here are some pics of the inside of the car such as floors trunk and also some outside shots of the rockers and where I took the body kit off at.
As you can see, it's a sigh of relief that I dont have to do a lot of floor work. I plan on making it apro tour style camaro.

I didn't remove the carpet from the driver side cuz I still drive it and would rather just keep it in till the car is parked.

Tons of potential MG! So what's the plan - keeping it the original blue, or some other color?

im not sure about color yet. i have changed my mind soooo much already as it is but i do love blue. but i want something different then any third gen ive seen, so im thinking about going with a almost flat pewter color. also i want the rest of the car to look up to date as in it look like it came out with a more modern interior and such. i may be dreaming but it makes me happy lol.

I haven't given up yet. Life is starting to calm down a little to where I can attend to my IROC a little more these days.

My .02...being an original G92 car, why not do a stock-ish restoration? The car will be worth some money down the road.
Regardless, you have a great baseline to start with. Nice, solid car...
