Re: Unknown Rpo's
I have no specific info about any of them, but I have some general pointers
E72 is more than likely E7Z, a common RPO
629 I haven't seen too often but a safe bet is that it has to do with the interior trim and/or interior material and/or interior color.
28U is probably an exterior color code. If you didn't find what color 28 was, chances are it's not on here so I won't bother looking. If this car had a 2-tone exterior, the "upper" part of it would be color #28. If it was a single color car, then the exterior should've have been color #28.
92P - from my experience, an RPO in the format of ##P is an RPO desigating wheel color. I'm basing this on the fact that 55P is a 1982 RPO for Goldwing Metallic wheels. Again if you already looked on thirdgen and didn't find what color 92 was, then I have no idea.
just some generic help for you since nobody else has chimed in yet

Re: Unknown Rpo's
Found 28U to be Black Sapphire Metallic, Some RPOs were recycled throughout the years so some RPOs might not mean what they do for a particular application. Y84=GTA or 15th anniversary, WS6=Suspension for 2nd and 3rd gen Firebirds, or Ram Air package for 4th gen Firebirds.

Re: Unknown Rpo's
Here is another rpo D7G-Gear Speedo Driven.
The 89K will be a stripe color combination, primary exterior color combination, secondary exterior color combition,or something along that line. I haven't found it listed anywhere yet. Also, are you sure that E72 isn't E7Z. E72 is the 18" extention option, whereas E7Z is the Sensor Veh. Spd. (Delete)?

Re: Unknown Rpo's
That code was reused and the decoder isn't correct for the model year your decoding. The 18" extension is for the cargo vans with the extension, not an FBody

Re: Unknown Rpo's
Fleet incentives are special options or paint schemes offered to corporations and employees of these corporations who ordered new cars. They were usually various color schemes so that you could identify the corporations they belong to. An example of this would be the pink Cadillacs that are given to Mary Kay Cosmetic's top sales people.

Re: Unknown Rpo's
Sorry to hijack this thread, but it would be silly creating a duplicate...
I wanted to ask about the following codes:
A4K
A4L
B9K
D6J
E7Z
E9Z
GA3
GA4
NOD
Z31
8PK
9PK
96A
The car is a 1986 Canadian V6 Sport Coupe, if that helps.
Everything else matches spot on, except K34 which says there's cruise control... I've had this car for over a year and didn't find any! Where would the controls be?

Re: Unknown Rpo's
K34 is indeed cruise control. The cruise control should be on the turn signal/windshield wiper control stalk. There should be a button on the end of it and a little fob on the stalk itself that can slide L and R. Thats where it should be. Could be possible with the age of the car that it was changed out. I know mine the plastic is broken and it will need to be replaced.
