What is this?

Was this something the dealer should have discarded or was it common practice to give this to the buyer along with the window sticker?

Re: What is this?

It looks like something they may have applied to the original paint by a dealer. it clearly shows that it was an addition to the car. As Teflon is a Dupont product, ever heard or seen something to put teflon on paint... Seems it would make repairs more difficult..

Re: What is this?

That is a common dealer upsell, they always try to upsell you various "protections" during the sale of the car, but this sticker indicated that te work was done before the car got put on the showroom floor, so they made this "supplemental" sticker to the window sticker to inform the customer that this car has other option that are not on the window sticker.
It would be as normal to get that with the car as the window sticker.

Re: What is this?

From what I have read regarding the Teflon paint protection it seems it is nothing more than a glorified wax job. Longer lasting but certainly not permanent so I doubt it could cause any problems with repairs.

The only mention on this sticker of the paint protection is the pre-printed text. The only item the dealer listed is "Limited Edition" which I have a feeling was an added charge on account of the Special Service package. You would think if the Teflon protection was added it would have been itemized on sticker.
