87 camaro iroc. limited edition badge around locks in both doors? not a convertable.

so ive been searching and cant seem to find anything on 87 irocs that were limited edition except the convertables. and their badge was on the dash.

my 87 iroc has limited edition badges surrounding the locks on each door.

they are white with silver cursive writing and look to be original and factory by age. and quality.

sorry this is the best pick i have kinda shows where and how its placed

Those are aftermarket pieces. They were pretty common back then and were probably put on shortly after the car was new. If you look around you'll see quite a few cars with them but they never came from the factory that way.

That could be tough depending on how long they've been on there because it may mess up your paint when you take them off. Also, there's a possibily you may still be able to see where it was at because of paint fade. There are special products out there made for removing old stickers, etc. You could also try using something like GooGone along with a razor. A heat gun may also help you out.

You could try heating the badges with a hair dryer or very, VERY carefully with a heat gun. The heat with soften the adhesive, then gently pry free starting in a corner. Once it's off, use some GooGone to remove any remaining adhesive residue.
