Thought you few guys here with Firehawks would like to know what SLP is doing with the Firehawk name...

I will comment more tomorrow, but for now the actual Teaser brochure that I gave away at the CamaroZ28.com banquet and at the track:
I cannot get into performance questions/answers quite yet, but lets just say the performance on our Supercharged model is more than impressive, 50 state legal and fully warranted.
The reaction was overwhelming and I can't wait to be able to get into the details.

Would think another name would be fitting, (Firebird-Firewhawk), (G8-something else). Still cool that somebody is offering a tuned version. The G8 is a hot car, especially the GXP.

This is a post that needs to get locked. This is just pitiful. Not a big fan of the G8 from the start, but don't mix the Firehawk name in with it. If they are so interested in bringing the Firehawk back, then bring the Firebird back...
Otherwise come up with a new name for the tuned G8.
Seems like they are grasping at straws, no matter how excited Ed may be about it.
My 2c.

In my opinion they need to change that body style, especially the front end. First off it resembles an EVO to much with the mods slp has done, second the original G8 looks like the G6 which looked like the GTO which looked like the Grand Prix, which looked like the Grand Am. Am I crazy or does anyone agree? I'm voting for crazy, but who knows.
