RPO questions
Doing a little research for a friend's 92 RS...came up with 3 blanks and one "???" so here it goes:
R8T
R9Z
WDV
1SZ
I tried 1S2 and got the ???, but past that i can't figure it out. If anyone could look up variations of what they could be...i can't think of any and the RPO decoder tool isn't being of much help. Also came up blank with 84Z and 94Z, but being at the end i just assumed they are the computer selected rear springs. Thanks for any help!

Re: RPO questions
When the decoders don't help, you can also try searching the forums by entering those RPO codes into the search. You then may be able to find the answers.
For instance, R8T and WDV have been discussed, and ScottM, who is really knowledgeable, was able to answer those two RPO codes:

Re: RPO questions
R8T - Control, Sales Item No. 69 Processing Option
R9Z - ??? Possibly another Sales Item Control #
WDV - ??? Stumped - WD6 relates to a promotional program.
ISZ - Discount Option Package (Value Group)
84Z - ??? Stumped - However all the 84 series RPO pertain to color codes
94Z - ??? Stumped - However all the 94 series are also RPO's pertaining to color codes.
Note; The 8N and 9N RPO series followed by a third letter are the ones related to the computer selected rear springs.
Hope the above helps. Many RPO that are used surprisingly do not relate to actual vehicle options but to sales, merchandising, promotions, etc. Sorry I can't explain what some of them may mean, I only know how they are listed.

Re: RPO questions
The 84Z & 94Z indicate Vinyl trim. It is always true as I have never found an exception. RPOs where the first two characters are NUMBERS are always colors, the last digit can be either a letter or a number. in this case "Z" = Vinyl trim.

Re: RPO questions
hmm...i knew about the two numbers thing being colors...but i swear the car has cloth...could it be like the 1 piece camaro seat with the vinyl backs? I've been doing a little of my own research and coming up with the same things. No real explanations...just more questions. But as mentioned i know most are sales and such, especially since 4th gen was right around the corner they were trying to scoot these out of factories and off the lots so. Thank you all for your help!

Re: RPO questions
The Vinyl does not specify the seats, it is probably something else in the car... What I do not know.
