My car came with no "papers"

However you can still get some copies of original material.

Since PHS (Pontiac Historic Services) cannot do 87 and newer Pontiacs, I got the factory invoice (unfortunatley, nothing else) from Allied Vaughn. They are under contract from GM

Tells you neat things like how much it cost, options, what dealer it was sent to

After the option saving package of $1560 the
invoice price was $16,856

It is a WX1 car---two tone DELETE (other Formulas had the body colour and then gray along the lower portions)

and it was shipped to the Pontiac dealer in Downers Grove, IL
(not far from where I bought it, in Plainfield) My mom lived in Downers Grove and I still have relatives there.

Just thought I'd share my experince

Re: Allied Vaughn

Did you get a copy of all of the RPO codes? My sticker is missing, and I'd be curious to see them.

I am also missing the label.

I got some RPO codes. None for interior colour, ext colour.

Just the major stuff, which I already knew (13 in total)

I have mine. The VIN has been changed to protect the innocent.

Re: Allied Vaughn

Just a side note--PHS can still do a window sticker--if you are forced to go through Allied Vaughn.

scottmoyer--I wonder if because your car is a Camaro that you got all the RPOs listed....? Chevy always kept better records then Pontiac

Re: Allied Vaughn

When I ran my GTA through PHS, the listing of the RPO codes provided by PHS was far from complete. I know this as I was able to compare the PHS sheet to my actual RPO sticker.

When I ran my TA through PHS, although the listing of RPO codes from PHS was more complete, it was still missing several RPO codes that my RPO sticker had shown. Case in point, my TA has the WS6 option, and it's on the RPO sticker. Nowhere was it listed on the PHS sheet.

Re: Allied Vaughn

The invoice listed above is the one from GM that was posted on here several years back. I contacted them when the original invoice was still free. I would think that Chevy and Pontiac would have similar invoices because the dealer needs to know his bottom line cost of the vehicle so he knows what to sell it for. Missing large amounts of RPOs, espcially the costly ones wouldn't be practical. What I posted was my original invoice.

Re: Allied Vaughn

Allied Vaughn is great to deal with.I sent A check and my VIN.Wasn't long and they send my check BACK saying that they have no records on my car as it was A "company car".Whatever that means! I give them credit for refunding my money and not giving me the run-around.It's a 1985 Z28 out of the Wausau WI area.Title search dried up before 1990 when I got records from a Plymouth Spirit or some such car.Maybe time to dig out the yellow pages and cold calling!!
Anyway, don't be afraid to try Allied Vaughn....it IS worth the money!!!!...BILL

It's not that is wasn't worth it--but PHS was better--you got more then sheet of paper. Of course if you have a Camaro--PHS was never an option anyhow.

Allied was fast--took about 1 day to send me invoice
