They are hubcaps for the standard steel wheel. They came in 14" and 15" versions, and different colors...gold and silver. Not really worth much in my opinion..not very popular. I see them on Ebay all the time and they usually don't go for much, if they sell at all. There is also an '84 Bird in a used car lot around where I live with the same wheels.

hell i would get a set for my 82 since it is farkin impossible to get your hands on a set of aluminum cast wheels of either style that came on these cars
did these covers come in 15" ?

I've seen some on Ebay, and they said they were 15"...not sure if they were 14" only or what. The person was selling 2 sets and he said the other one was 14"

My bird has the bird on the hood in the same spot....mine is an 83, but the hood isnt off an 83, previous owner threw a hood from another year on.....but the bird is in the same place!

My 83 T/A had the bird in the same place on the hood, as the 84 that is shown.
The best info i have, is that Pontiac started to put the small bird on the bumper cover of the T/As, but put them on the hoods of the base/S/E Firebirds, in 1986.
But then in 1987, they were ALL on the bumpercover, until the 1992 model year end.
