Weatherstripping part numbers need some help.

I have just spent about an hour looking for part numbers using the search and can't find what I am looking for.

I am getting new rubbers for my car since it is being painted. Anyway so far I have loacted part numbers for the door weatherstripping

RHS DOOR WEATHER STRIP
GM PART # 20350900
CATEGORY: Door Weatherstrip
PACK QTY: 1
CORE CHARGE: $0.00
GM LIST: $222.38
OUR PRICE: $136.46

LHS DOOR WEATHER STRIP
GM PART # 20350901
CATEGORY: Door Weatherstrip
PACK QTY: 1
CORE CHARGE: $0.00
GM LIST: $209.85
OUR PRICE: $128.76

I would also like to get new T-top seals. I really only need the 2 seals that go around the T-top. If I can also get the actual weatherstripping on the T-TOP itself that is a bonus. I don't need the metal retainers as I can just reuse my old ones.

The only part number for the T-TOP weatherstripping kit I have found is 10164133. But GMpartsdirect sent me an email that this part is only for 1991 Camaro's and will not fit my 1986 camaro.

Does anyone have the correct part number for T-TOP weatherstripping for a 1986 Camaro?

Also the triangle windows seals I am thinking about getting new also. The ones that mount near the side mirrors and guide the window when it moves up and down.

Another part I would like to get is the door jam bumb stops made of rubber.

Does anyone have part numbers for these or is there a site with GM part numbers anywhere?

To make it easier on myself I found these guys:

www.fbodymotorsports.com

They seem to have everything and reasonably priced.

Oh well I just read the horrible stories with fbody motorsports so that will be a miss I guess.

So I still need the part number for the t-top kit for a 1986. Original GM one.

Check with Modern Day Muscle,Hawks,CLassic Industries or Year One.From what I've read, but no personal experience,I would stay away from FBody as they have been having problems.

I will have to look up the P/N when I get back in town. The triangle seals made a world of difference in wind noise when I replaced them(but then mine were in bad shape.

That gm part number you listed says that the seals are for 82 through 91,so if their saying that they wont fit a 86,they seem to be contradicting themselves. The kit i ordered through hawks should fit mine ok and i've got a 85,z28

Alicat.

One difference that comes to mind,is that if you have the c&c type t-tops,
(cars&concepts),then those seals wont fit.

Re: Weatherstripping part numbers need some help.

Nah I have the original T-tops.

GMpartsdirect said this 10164133 is for 10164133 1991 Camaro's only. 10164133 is not illustrated in the GM parts catalog.

I asked about it fitting my 1986 Camaro and they replied with that. I also asked why the picture will not display and that was part of their answer.

So really I am not sure????

I emailed them back asking for the 1986 T-top weatherstripping part number. Still waiting for answer.

Re: Weatherstripping part numbers need some help.

The parts catalog I have is the '82-'88 version so the part numbers have changed.I hope they can help you.
Weatherstrip,Panel Opening Body-RH - 20667534
Weatherstrip,Panel Opening Body-LH - 20667535
There is a design change noted in '88 for the slider and the part numbers for the weatherstripping are different. And as alicat noted the C&C seals would be different. The only other change came in '91 that i know of.

Thank you very much!!! That is what I need. I checked gmpartsdirect with those numbers and it did not find anything. So now I have to send them an email and ask for the newer numbers. So these numbers are perfect for my 1986 camaro.

Thank you very much for your help!!!

Cheers,
Mike
