A 350 and a 5 speed don't exist. Never have and never will.

Not from the factory at least. This guy probably just swapped his 700R4 with a T5.

The T-56 isn't a 5 speed, so it didn't even happen in 93.

Just another classic example of a guy who thinks his LB9 305 is an L98 350. The previous owner probably lied to him, and he was gullible enough to believe it. Look at his VIN number on the windshield. Count over eight places, and I guarantee you will see the letter "F", which proves the car is a 305. If it was a 350 it would be "8". After you show him that you will have proved to him that he is incorrect. No thirdgen "EVER" came factory with a 350/T5 combo. If you want that you have to build it yourself. I did this with one of my Camaros. It's actually not that hard. Things that need to be changed besides the engine are: Change from 19 lb. injectors to 22 lb. , change the knock sensor, and change the ECM PROM chip to a custom burn so it understands it's no longer an auto tranny. That's it's, very simple. It's much easier than trying to convert an auto car to stick.

Edit: Also I forget the new prom is also needed for the added cubes, not just the tranny. You use the 350 bin file, but change it to a manual tranny.

Re: 350/5-speed???

As stated, no third gens came with 350/T5 UNLESS they were 86 test mules AND THEY WERE ALL CRUSHED or non-existant to the public.

Also, I see your a new member. Please read the stickies, you'll learn a lot from them. This topic has been covered at least once a week. No offense intended.
