Very cool car!
Guess what, I have a full set of those very wheels in my basement. Well, mostly full! One of them is hanging in my garage and serves as the reel for my compressed air hose.
Whatever, that is a nice collectible third-gen, and $7800 is probably about the right price.

I have 1 question how does it have crossfire which is tbi. But then he says it has a 600cfm carb on it?

A: The Cross Fire Fuel Injection engine was an upgrade from the standard 305 HO carbeurated engine. This upgraded engine still has the "GIT KIT" just excluding the 600 holley carb, it still has the upgraded plugs, exhaust etc. The reason some chose the fuel injection, I am not sure, but some of these MECHAM RACING CARS came with the standard 305 like what a base model Trans Am had. And those MECHAM RACING Trans AMs had the upgraded carb. I apologize for not making that clear in my description. I hope this helps you out, THANKS, Jeff

"All original and runs" doesn't say much for the car. Wouldn't it be near impossible to get a MR MSE restored back to the condition the one on ebay was if it needs interior, decals, etc?
But $1500 sounds like a steal. I'd def. go get it if I were you.

1982 they did 500 cars. 4speed or 3speed auto, base 305.
It is vary hard to restore these cars because you can't find the
parts or decals any more.
The 1983 cars you could get the HO motor and a 5 speed and only made
150 cars and that is why they sell for more. Also in 1983 you could get
more MSE options on the car like susp. mods. They didn't come on 1982 cars.
