2 questions. RPO/Suspension

Folks,
I am in need of some of your supreme assistance once again.

1. I am trying to decode my car completely and can't find a few RPO codes.
Can you look over my codes and help decipher the ones I have not filled in?

2. I thought if you didn't have the F41 suspension you did not have 36MM hollow sway bar. I have the factory wonderbar and 36MM front sway bar. Is this norm? Nothing has been changed on the car you can tell it is all original.
Thanks in advance,

The IROC came with the steering brace "wonderbar" standard I believe. The FE2 suspesion package on your car is above the F41 suspension. The F41 was the option on the Sport Coupe,Berlinetta,LT and RS.Looks like your car has every option that was available in '89

Yeh it is heavy on the options. I need to weigh it once I run the gas out of it here soon. And notice it does not have T-Tops. I wanted a solid 350 car without T-Tops so it took me a while to find this one. Anyway thanks for the responses.

Coolram,
Give me yell sometime. I am in the Corps and stationed at the airstation.

My Z28 is heavy on the options for '83 similar to your '89.You are most welcome for the help. That's what everyone is here for. Here are a couple links on the FE2 suspension package.Use the search option in the suspension forum because there are several more.

I worked at the Air Station in PWM for 12 years before getting hurt.I don't live to far from there. That would be cool just send me a PM.

Well, it can be kind of confusing... F41 is a vintage code for an upgraded suspension. Typically there are three suspension levels when dealing with 82-92 Fbodies... FE1 is the base model config. F41 is the mid-level. FE2 is the top of the line. Also, some years F41 is nearly identical to the later FE2. To get an accurate breakdown you'd need to have GM materials for your year. Most of the RPO decoders online will be skewed towards one year or another, again it's best to have the vintage paperwork that matches the vintage of your car, to get the correct information.

Car: 1989 IrocZ Convertible

A little more clarity on the front springs . . .

RPO 6ZW = SPRING, COMPUTER SELECTED, FRONT LEFT HAND (Part # 14029397)
RPO 7ZW = SPRING, COMPUTER SELECTED, FRONT LEFT HAND (Part # 14029397)

Other stuff . . .

RPO B18 = Chevrolet also adds to your description . . . DELUXE
RPO B34 & B35 = Chevrolet also adds to your description . . . CARPETED and COLOR COORDINATED
RPO B84 = BLACK BODY SIDE MOLDING . . . then based on the RPO 40U (the white colour of your car) you would then get the RPO 11Q which would chnage the colour of the standard black B84 side molding to white.
RPO Z28 = Chevrolet describes it as . . . PERFORMANCE PACKAGE, SPECIAL . . . but does not specifically mention IROC-Z option, but that's pretty much a given in.

I would love to have the J65 & N10, but alas some things weren't available in my vert, much like the L98.
Great ride!!!
