I have a 1LE car and also a G92 car. The 1LE also has the G92 option. The rear end ratio depends on other codes. My 1LE has a 3.42 rear end. If I remember correctly the other one is also a 3.42 ratio.
The 1LE option adds a bunch of other stuff too, depending on the year. Alum driveshaft, Corvette brakes, baffled tank, etc

My dad owns both a 91 1LE car and a 91 G92 car.
The 1LE Consists of:
Corvette Aluminum Finned Brake Calipers
Dual Baffle Fuel Tank (prevet fuel starvation under hard cornering)
Aluminum Driveshaft
Stiffer Lowering Springs (Better for Cornering)
4 Wheel Discs
Auburn 3.42 Disc Rear
High Volume Oil Cooler
Dual Catalyc Converotrs
Special Shocks
Fog Lamps Deleted (for weight savings)
The 1LE Option was a hidden option that was only avaliable if the G92 package was ordered without air conditioning, in which the 1LE would become avaliable. Was designed for SCCA Showroom racing, but was disguised behind expensive sounding "axle packages". GM Didnt want this to be avaliable to the general public due to firm springs and suspension giving a rough ride. this would most likely result in bad publicity for the camaro.
The G92 Consists of:
(if ordered with a/c)
4 Wheel Disc Brakes
High Volume Oil cooler
Dual Catalyc Convertors
If ordered with out A/c, G92 incuded:
4 Wheel Disc Brakes
HV oil cooler
Dual Cats
Aluminum Driveshaft
Heavy Duty front brakes
Special shocks and fuel Pickup
Hope this helps!

Sheldon...you are spot on correct. I was going to quote the Camaro White Book but you explained it much better.
