Part of the high mileage club now!
I took the car for a spin and saw this as I pulled in the garage. Guess it's time to buy another since this one has such high miles.

Yeah, you might want to start saving for the engine rebuild :-) You know I love this low mileage stuff!
My '85 IROC, '89 TTA, and '82 CE Vette are a cumulative total of 64 years old and have less than 5,500 miles total between them.

Scott in all seriousness why don't you buy another one to drive? Your car is a fantastic example of an all original IROC-Z, and while it's great to own such a car it would be even better if you had another that you could beat the snot out of every so often. If you are ever interested I might even sell you my 87. I need to trim my fleet.

If my wife would let me, I'd do just that. One of these days, I'll own 87 B4Z TPI 5Spd's car!! He just doesn't know it yet. I do drive this on occasion, but Florida is such a dirty state, I can't keep it clean on just a drive. I really should get another one because I don't know how much abuse these cars can take. The last 8k miles have seen some highway time, but most of it is hot rodding around. I am usually sideways on many turns and the sound of the 350 when launching is so awesome, I do it every chance I get. I figure the tires will dry rot before I can wear them out, so I'm trying to wear them out. I'm hard on the car when I drive it, but isn't that what it was made for? Gonna try and get to Carlisle this spring for the show. I might even drive it up!

Carlisle is done deal, but probably without the car. I'll take the family to Dorney Park, Crayola, M&M Factory, Hershey Park and show them my old stomping grounds of Allentown and Jersey! I'll let you guys know when I head to Carlisle for the GM Nationals.

This will be a good show as it's the 50th anniversary of the 57 Chevy and the 40th anniversary of the Camaro. GM is also making a big deal of these anniversaries in Detroit in August. Wish I could make it to both.
