True, but the '90 model was made from late summer '89 until the last day of the year. I have a 90 IROC-Z that was built in December '89.

DONT F'ING CRUSH THOSE CARS..

I would hate to see a third gen f-body getting crushed. I would rather see my grandmother.. nevermind, family oriented forums.

I just cant stand to see these cars go to waste =\

Wish I had an ebay account so I could ask her if any of cars had leather. I would gladly drive to chicago to pick up some leather seats.

#1) The rear axel from the Camaro in question is nothing special. Starting in 1989 all rear disc brake cars went the the larger rear disc brakes that he has pictured there. In 1988 only the 1LE cars got them but when they discovered that the proportioning valve and the master cylendar were the same as the drum brake cars it was probably cheeper to buy slightly larger rear brakes....

The car was a G92 (chances are NOT 1LE) as chances are the 1LE would not have gotten a CD player.

Also the B2L 350 Trans Am with the 5 speed and a 305 Motor happens to be a Formula... INterestingly it should have the same axel as the Camaro.

As for the Borg & WArner 9 bolt, thats what he has pictured. Production stopped in 1989, but it is completely possible that one was installed in a 1990 model year car...

Sounds like a lot of wind to me

John

I made the guy an offer on the CD player and the intrument cluster. I have yet to hear back. He kept saying how rare the parts were, and to make him an offer. I made one. I guess he didn't like it because I haven't gotten a response. Sometimes I wonder if people understand the art of negotiation.

The're were quite a few 1990 Iroc's equipped with the Borg Warner 9 bolt. All of them built in August or September of 1989. And Mine is one of them. GM.

funny how the Borg Warner 9 bolt turns into a Dana 44, also how it was sold on the 9th and the 12th. Nice paint job.

I asked for the CD player and he told me it does not work.
I still wanted it but he did not respond.
