Camaro Rims Restoration

Camaro Rims Restoration
Hi. I have a question about how to restore the rims on a 91 Camaro I have. What is the best way to do this? They have not major scratches or curb rash, but it appears as if they have some sort of clear coat on them that is peeling off. Can these be restored?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Use chemical paint stripper to remove the clearcoat. Then you can polish, touch up the black paint lines, and reclear them for a like-new finish.

or if you don't want a huge mess and you want the wheels to look like new, you can talk to local body shops and find out who in your area refinishes wheels.
The aircraft stripper won't remove all of the paint, but it'll tear it up and leave the wheels discolored. Unless you want to polish them, have them professionally redone.
