I guess I should have put on a smiley face for you , but I figured that with your MASSIVE amounts of post , you'd know. My bad.
Well , with you being on the puter so much , YOU can look it up and tell everyone how many 'Crossfires' where made in 82.
Thank you so much for being so friendly. Makes me want to post here again and again! Who knows , I might be as NICE as you after 500+ posts and start pointing out users typos!
Now , watch my post number and see how often I post here and how often I return to this oh-so FRIENDLY site

Have a nice day!
Cool, never heard that one before. I thought you were confused or making things up since IROC is usually refering to Camaros. I don't know how many crossfire's were made in '82. With a total production of 116,364 Firebirds and of that 52,960 Trans Am's and 21,719 S/E's I would think that there would be more than 13,037 made with the CFI. I just asked where you got your numbers for the benifit of all. Like someone else said, nobody knows everything about these cars and any info is more knowledge. I got my info from the Standard Catalog of Firebird.

I'm not trying to "flame" you or whatever you think, but it seems you didn't read the entire post before you made your comment. Most of your statements were already answered and posting that the seats were not correct for a T/A is just plain wrong. If you didn't know that, now you do...don't take things too personally. I come here all the time and am constantly learning new things about my car and thirdgens in general. I didn't know anything about my car at first, but I always try and search...everyone here was new at somepoint. Sorry if you were offended.

The 13,037 crossfires figure is correct!
This is the figure given to me by Pontiac for production of '82 TAs with this engine, when I was doing my book.
