I know of course the wheels, ground effects and Trans Am grilles or inserts, locking fuel door on all? the center console I think on all of them has the pad on the drivers side by the gas pedal, black leather wrapped steering wheel, all wheel disk brakes but not sure if they all had posi, anyone know if they came with aluminum driveshafts???

I don't think they came with aluminum driveshafts.

The special jacking instructions on the inside of the spare tire cover.

The Recaro seats.

The guages that illuminate red.

The 25th Annv. emblem that is placed over the Trans Am decal on the fender.

Yes. The 5-speed cars came with 3.73 gears and the automatics came with 3.23's.

Any pictures of the car you are buying? What shape is it in?

here are pics of the very car. some minor body work, I have an extra set of extra body panels on hand from previous parts cars, so the body panels are not an issue at all. the rad support I will have to have that looked at.hopefully that is the worst part of the damage. the guy says the car is pretty much rust free.

Looks to have been in decent condition prior to the accident. Good luck with it!

The car came with special floor mats, which had the emblem molded in rubber, on a carpeted mat, for both sides of the front.
Also, the stripes around the car are special too. I don't know if anyone repros those.
You as a new owner, could have gotten the complete door decal/windshield decal kit from Pontiac. Alot of people didn't get it, as the dealerships didn't really care to send Pontiac the owner details. Alot of these cars hit the dealerships before the decal kits were sent out.
By chance, did you get a copy of the build sheet, or the RPO codes?
Good luck with your project! Those are nice cars!

I can't wait to start to do some work and get it started again. its been sitting for 11 years and nothing has been removed in the engine bay except the battery. def happy with my new BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good for you!
Did you get the special mats?
Or, the decal kit that comes with the door decals and windshield decal?
You wouldn't by chance want to photocopy the build sheet (with the RPO codes), and mail it to me would you?
I have a few build sheets for the Daytona Trans Am, and I would love to compare.
Let me know, I can pay you for the copy and stamp. You can PM me if you want.

Thanks,

George

no decals no mats either but otherwise everything else is there. I already looked on Classic industries web site to see if they would have a new radiator support and they do. I am going to completely remove the front end parts first to see if there is anything else I might need to order. I really want to get this car back in shape and on the road again!!!! in stock form at that. you can def rest assured that I will be looking for a set of mats and a decal set. granted money always determines when these projects get done, that being said I just hope I don't find them all at once on Ebay, if so I wouldn't be able to buy them all b/c I am sure these things go for a mint. anyone know of a place where I could get all the little pieces of carpet that go on the int panels?? I should have looked for those to at C.I. but I didn't. the int is pretty dirty so it is all comming out to be cleaned up or replaced with new parts. I will keep you guys posted on the progress!!!!!! I have ALOT of experiance tearing into these cars from parting out so many of them, so I now exactly everything comes apart and goes back together so that will make this project a whole lot easier!!!!!experiance goes a long way.

Hey, nice find. Mats are not reproduced... good look finding a set anywhere! The decals & stripes are reproduced, see phoenixgraphix.com

Also, you might try the dealer on the core support, all CI does is drop ship them and charge you out the A$$ for shipping.

Just a word to the wise, do NOT just start removing Bent parts and replace them If you want it right pull it back into shape and then start pulling parts, otherwise it nothing will line up even if it looks fine.

Has anyone purchased the stripes from PG? The reason I ask is because the Daytona stripes have a white background and I believe the PG reproduction set might be individual stripes with no background.

Do they also do the correct windshield decal?
I don't know of them to do any stripes right.

SHE LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!! today I put new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, oil and filter and then put 4 gallons of 89 octane in the tank.the gas guage says the car was pretty empty so I don't have to much bad gas to maybe deal with, but I am not sure how dirty that gas tank could be from 11 years of condensation comming and going. the car ran good at first but now runs like crap.I think the fuel filter is clogged. if I pour fuel done the T.B.'s the car revs right up but dies out pretty quickly after that, I have the feather the gas pedal to keep it running. the pump is def working though, I can hear it plain as day.
def a bit of weight off my shoulders now that I know it does run.now all I need is maybe a new coil and a couple of K&N air filters and that should be it under the hood.
