I have one. It has been sitting in my driveway since '01 waiting to be restored. For my birthday, my wife wants me to get it finished up, so hopefully I will have it completed sometime this summer. I will post pics someday.

I have opwned 2, and both at the same time, one was 5 speed and other auto. the 5 spped had water based paint (calif) and the auto had Ohio enamel.
I loved the functional hood, probably the last one potiac made that had moving parts in it!
I love these cars, I know where there is one in need of resto but is complete for sale. Its a 5 speed as well.
Sadly I traded off both my cars after one almost killed a friend after rolling off the narrow ramps (wide tires didnt sit in the ramp grove)
we were swapping the tranny on the auto.
fimally I did reaeach and all my 3rd gen cars have a fan that comes on at 189 degress and I do not cook trannys anymore
I still have a 15th T/A pin and I sold my license plate with 15thTA on it recently on ebay.
only 1500 made. what a great car! I want to take extensive amopunts of pics next one I see thats nice!!

Can any of you post a good pic of the correct manual shifter **** for the '84 15th Anniversary T/A? When I bought mine, it had a rubber, charcoal-gray colored **** and I have been wondering if the correct covering had just warn out and fallen off, or if somebody replaced it with one from another car.
Nevermind... Found it here:

Car: 1984 TA 15 year Anniversary
Engine: 305

I got one, and i know theres aleast one other here in the UK. Had mine about 6 years now, unfortunaltly its been off the road for the past 3 years after my trans died. Dont know much about the cars history except its a Norwood car, it was a 1 owner car before i had it and it had spent its time in Ontario. The owner had moved over here some 18 years ago.. maybe more and the car had been left stored in his parents garage. About 8 years ago he imported it himself then 2 years later it was mine. Hate to say it but the car looks a little tired now, the past 3 years being stood around has taken its toll. On the bright side i have over the past couple weeks started to work on the car and its now running. Trouble is money is tight so im struggling on a budget, in my favour i do have my own small bodyshop so i can do all the paint/panel work myself. Ive just purchased a secondhand tranny for the car so i hope to aleast have her mobile soon. Would like to get her mechanically sound over the next few months then ill strip and repaint ready for next year.
Theres one thing i want to find out if anyone can help... since ive had the car ive found many photos the 15yr anniversary cars either in mags or on the net... ive noticed serveral small differences in the cars.. some have electric mirrors some dont, ive seen a few different types of mouldings that run between the wheel arches across the doors and some cars with no mouldings at all, some cars have pace decals on the doors etc what im wondering was there a list of options you could choose from and is there a way of checking what my car should have as i have none of the things ive mentioned. Just curious.

Would one of you be able to measure your rear sway bar? I've always heard that the 25th anniv TA's came with the biggest rear sway bar for our cars. Would like to see if there is any truth to this rumor, and then put the question out there why was it canceled after this short run.

Re: Anymore 15th Anniv TA owners around?
Hey everyone, new to the site. I also own one, original owner was my father who then handed it down to me to restore it. its not in the best shape but it can be fixed (ever since he got his vette, he forgot all about the TA!) so right now i'm in the process of tearing it apart to make it just like new. I'll post pics of the progress if anyone is interested.
