Tach Redline
Did any Camaro 82-90 have a Tach with a warning
at 5500/6000 and Redline at 6000 RPM's?? Any
V-6's rev that high?? Any info would help.

84' T/A 305HO. My friend's did. That's the only one I've ever seen. It could have had a V6 gauge cluster in it though. The car was 14 years old when he bought it, so anything is possible.

my 1987 305 IROC 5 speed has yel 5500 and red 6000

ok this applies to the 85-89 for sure,
the only camaros with a 5500 yellow 6000 red are the v6 camaros, my 87 iroc listed in sig. has the yellow 5000 red 5500, i dont beleive any camaros other than the stick cars(305 with the L98 cam) got the 5500 rpm redline all the other TPI auto cars i have seen like my buds 86 iroc have the 4500 yellow 5000 red.the L98`s probably have the 5kyellow, 55k red.. but i am not sure
so CAMARO6SPD you might want to double check your gauges and if it is a 6k redline, its from a v6.
when my new motor is done, i am going to have to get a 6k tach from a v6

I think all 350's had 5000 yellow and 5500 red

Thanks for the replies, the reason for the question was, I condered getting a Tach out of v-6 car to replace my old 305 with a updated warning/redline for my new 350.
I have now decided to go with the Gauge
Overlays from MacEwen.
