1988 custom job convertible by ASC

i thought asc stopped doing custom jobs after 1987
but this is a proof that they did custom jobs convertibles
in 1988,

i found this on ebay its a 1985 sc camaro that was actually converted in 1988, i think its extremly rare to find a 1985 asc convertible
that was donr in 1988

any of you guys ever seen anything like it ?

Thats awesome, exactly what I've been waiting to see!!! I guess I could have had the top cut off my 85 by ASC like they told me. Great info.

Well, since the roof was cut off by choice at some point, who knows what they did to the rest of the car.

Yes, ASC did accept customer owned cars for conversion. I have seen in person and verified a 1988 350 IROC-Z convertible.

The car in the pictures is an '88 or '89, I can't remember which year got the "Camaro" on the GFX, I'm wanting to say '88. The wiper motor is an '88+ but the VIN posted showed an '85 with an Iron Duke motor.

CAMARO was available on the GFX starting in 1988, you're right.

Also, it does have the 88/89 spoiler... but I'm sure that could be added.
