well, it appears that your car was purchased with sales item #69, which may have been a free toaster with your new car for all I know. you also got interrior item PB, which is probably something trivial, like a leather wrapped steering wheel. the original owner also was able to deduct at least part of the car's purchase from their taxes. I cant think of any reason why an F-body could be construde as anything but pure fun, unless it was a loaner for a mechanic, or an estimate travel vehicle.

Thanks again, SaintedCorrupt. Well my dad is the original owner of my RS and he did buy it off the lot. My RPO's list code 1AY which IIRC is "dealer special order". My dad didn't get any kind of promotional gift nor did he deduct any of the warranty cost off of his taxes, like I said he bought it off the lot. As for code IPB my interior is standard cloth, nothing special or out of the ordinary.

I would translate warrenty waiver/partial deductable as just that, a warrenty waiver. Meaning either the dealer or the buyer waived part of the warrenty. Probably had to due with the fact is was a special order car with 1AY. One or more options may have conficted and voided part of the warrenty.

Re: Vast sorce of GM RPO codes!!
New here! Actually found this place looking for info on my wifes 87 bird. Question is, does anyone still have this RPO file? I would sure like to look it over. Thanks.

Re: Vast sorce of GM RPO codes!!
The most pertinent to our cars is going to be the RPO decoder here. Just keep in mind any code that says (91) in the definition is specific to the 1991 model year and may have a different definition when applied to other model years. If you post a list of the RPO codes you can't find, someone will help you find the definitions.
