"IROC-C" update
Turns out the guy I called about his "C" was the shop owner that applied the stickers. He had one person kill the V-8 in her Camaro and didn't have the money to replace it with the 8-cyl. So he bought the 2.8L V6 crated and made the swap (and kept it). One of his friends asked WTF and he told her. She thought it was cool, so she had the IROC-C sticker applied to her Sport Coupe. (Looser) Someone else apparently followed suit and sold the car to the dealer where my wife bought it. I think Harvey Danger said it best... "been around the world and found only stupid people are breeding" Oh well, at least it will come off with a razor blade!

Somebody is telling fish stories. Swapping over to a 2.8 would be SUBSTANTIALLY more expensive than putting in another 305.

It looks like I nailed this one right on the head -- a local shop stuck the sticker on your car.
I have one question. Will you be changing your UserName? I think you should keep it, it's kind of unique.
