1986 iroc with 350 tpi??
I am looking at what I am told is a 86 Iroc with the 350 tpi. I am thinking maybe the guy has his year mixed up and it's really an 87 I didn't look at the vin # and I should have. Here is what it has. Or it's just a classic case of someone calling a 305 a 350.
Third brake light on top of the hatch.
center bolt valve covers (which I thought started in 87)
Automatic transmission
T-Tops
It runs very well but the transmission needs replaced. He is only asking $2000 for it. It is a burgundy looking color. The body is really nice and so is the interior. I forgot to look at the mileage.
I think I am going to buy it regardless of what the engine is.
I have one question, since it is a iroc-z does that automatically mean it will have a posi rear end? Thanks for any responses.

People always try to sell 3rd-gens as better than they are..... hell, not just them, any car really. Had some chick try and tell me that her Firebird was a V8, till I actually pointed out to her that she actually had six spark plug wires.

I read that thread before, I also read somewhere that there were something like 78 350's built in 86. I also considered maybe he had his year wrong. But he eventually fessed up that it is a 305.
