I know they were available in 1987.

Mine's a 1986 Z28 Black on Gold. A lot of people these days do not believe it is factory.

My guess would be that the last year for
gold trimmed Z28s would be 87 (because 87 was the last year for the Z in it's current form)

As for the IROCs, i'm pretty sure they
had that option up to and including '90.

Believe me, i'd rather have a gold trimed
IROC then my black and red trim...yuck!

1990 was the last year for the gold decals and wheels. These cars usually had tan interior. With the exception of the Polo Green 1992 Z03 optioned cars. Hello again 87IROC1LE.

 

This is a really REALLY old thread but i HAD a Dark red metallic with red interior IROC that had gold wheels and gold decals. Was that a rare color combo? Not that it really matters since my mom totaled it two years ago.

Here is my 89 iroc that has tan interior and gold pkg. It happens to be dark red but I have seen other camaros with the same interior color and gold pkg with a different exterior color.
