'91 RS with F41 suspension...rare?

My '91 RS has the F41 suspension. Is this a rare option? It also came with the L03 and a 700r4 WITH 2.73S. Thanks.

Every non Z28/IROC from 86 and up came with the F41 suspension. It was a standard option.

To elaborate further, the F41 first became an option on the 1984 Sport Coupe. It became the standard suspension on the SC in 1986 and carried over onto RS's through 1992.

Willie,

I'm a little confused on something. I have a road test of a '91 Camaro RS, and in the test, the car was supposedly fitted with the F41 suspension package, which consisted of the P235/55/SR16 Goodyear Eagle GA's, larger sway bars, etc.

Yet, I look in the White Book, and indeed there is no F41 package. What was the RPO for the 16 inch RS rim and upgraded suspension package??

To answer what I GUESS is Z28 Boy's question, there were 79,854 total RS's made in '91. Of these, 47,589 had the standard tires....therefore, 32,265 RS's had P235/55/R16 tires in '91. Not exactly rare, but that gives you an idea of where your car stands

There is no RPO for the combination of 16" wheels and the suspension... in an RS the beefiest suspension is the F41.. the wheels were a seperate option.

Hmmm....the Motor Trend article is BS then. The way they sounded, this option was a Z28 suspension minus rear discs, and with slightly softer shocks/struts. I can post the part I'm talking about if anyone is interested.
