rebuilding cowl tag info

I was just wondering if it is possible to find out the cowl tag information from a car that has no cowl tag. Mine was gone when I bought it, however I found a compay that makes reproduction cowl tags. They say it is possible for them to make one if you don't have the original but I'm not sure what kind of numbers are on them. I know it has paint codes, plant, and I think build number as some others. I know some stuff you could get from the vin, and I know the color codes but is it possible to get all info for a cowl tag that does not exist?? If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it

No I do not. This is the sheet that is hidden somewhere in the car correct? There have been a few owners of this car so who knows if it is still there or not. Is this something PHS offers?

not worht $225 IMHO, unless you really need it for some governmental regulation or your restoring it back to original.

Your best bet would be to get a dealers invoice from GM - $50 or contact PHS-online

Yah, I didn't see that at first...also not sure if they make them for '82-'92 Firebirds. I send the guy and email and I'll see what he says. $225 for a piece of metal with letters stamped on it...
