DX3 option
Did the DX3 eliminate stripes and decals? what about the 5.7 tuned port bumper emblem and the Iroc side emblems? Did it eliminate those?

Only the stripes and door decals were deleted. All "IROC-Z" and engine designations were retained. Oh, and the buyer received a $60 credit too!

We have some new neighbors and they have an 88 IROC-Z with 36k miles. The car has the stripes, but no IROC-Z decals. The owner said he ordered the car with the decal delete package and that's how it came. I haven't seen the SPID label yet to verify the codes, but he believes this to be the DX3 option. It's possible the dealer just removed the IROC-Z decals to move a car they had on the lot.

If the customer didn't like the decals and told the dealer he wanted a car identical to one he had on the lot except without the decals.....off come the decals when the customer isn't there. Call him and say they found the exact car he was looking for, etc...
