Own it today, its a one of a kind 85 Firebird LG4, with a "Corvette Engine" the Hood is from an 87. Too bad whoever got the hood for the car did not get engine from the same vehicle....

Forgive my ignorance, but doesn't a Stage I in a Vette usually refer to a turbo setup? I don't see it here!! I do see a lot of dirt and BS though.

If it had an '85 Corvette engine it would be a TPI. That's a horribly dirty engine bay.
The lettering for the Stage I looks like something I would place on my mailbox.
If it were a Canadian car, then the primary reading of the speedometer would be metric, kph.
Even if it is a genuine rare car, it would not be worth 50K after a complete restoration. The guy is defintely a little looney.

I'm curious about the "Wildfire" inscription on the 200 mph speedometer dial.
After decoding both VIN's he has a '85 Firebird that originally had an LG4. The second VIN (under the hood?!?!) is for an 1987 Trans Am with an L98.
When will people stop putting those horrible Edelbrock Pro-Flo air filters on their carbs?

...Special cosmetics... right they're special- the a$s end splicing of this car reminds me of Dr Mephesto's lab in South Park (...and over here we have a rabbit with four a$ses...)
...I just know that it is very RARE! Someone needs to do a frame up on it, and take it to BARRETT JACKSON... I think some one needs to pay a towing service to tow that pile of dookie back to the trailer park that spawned it...

I have no doubt that this car is one of a kind, and I thank *** for that. This has to be a hoax based on a bet that someone made on whether or not he could get one bid. So far he's losing. He just lowered the starting bid again.

And the multi-colored tails, that were on the base birds, came out in 86.
I just reread his auction again, and it kills me that he is referring to it as a T/A Not even close! And what the H*** is a Stage 1 front bumper?
Poor mis-guided SOB

He re-listed it with no reserve, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7986599235 .
I still don't understand the mention of the 2nd gen nose clip. Isn't that a Formula nose?

Looking at the car it has a 85-90 T/A hood,82-85 firebird taillights, pro am wing,S10 wheels, some type of vette engine(I think).
Conclusion= IT'S A RED NECK HACK JOB.Cars like this are why third gens have a red-neck,white trash image.

Stage-1 I believe that was a Buick option in the early 70's, Stage 2's I think were dealer ordered parts that you could put on a Big Block Buick.
