does anyone remember the free invoices?
well there not free anymore

Hello,

The General Motors Vehicle Invoice service is now being coordinated and
managed by Allied Vaughn, a tier one supplier of GM. Please submit the
attached request form for copies of GM invoices.

As of March 1, 2005, the cost for this service is $50.00 per invoice.
If
paying by credit card, your account will be charged within two business
days of fulfillment.

Fulfillment is expected to take two to three weeks. If paying by check
or
money order, please mail your check or money order and a copy of this
form
to:

Attention: GM Vehicle Invoice

Check or money order payments may cause a delay in fulfillment as it
must
clear before your order is shipped.

Invoices are available for vehicles* in the following model years:
Chevrolet since 1977
Pontiac since 1987
Buick since 1982
Cadillac since 1980
Oldsmobile since 1977
GMC since 1976
*Fleet and exported vehicles excluded

It kind of sucks but I assume it took a lot of time (which costs money) to gather the info. Luckilly I've had mine for a year now.
